Trek O King: Trek to Caniyon Valley waterfall on 12th May 2013


Folks in this hot summer get ready to enjoy chilling showers of caniyon waterfall.

Caniyon Valley waterfall fall is one of the most beautiful waterfall located between lonavala and khandala. Height of waterfall is about 320 fts. Along the Ulhas river, from khandala till Karjat is a valley which is known as Caniyon / Ulhas / Tiger valley. There is huge water fall down in the valley where we will be spending at least one hour before starting our back journey. The waterfall is a popular destination for trekkers from Mumbai and Pune.

13.00 hrs: Start Ascending

17.00 hrs: Catch the train for Mumbai

Here is a list of all the things that we need to carry:

1.A haversack to put in all the things to be carried, so that one has hands free while trekking
2. A bottle of water (1.5 liter)
3. Camera (Optional)
4. Electoral / Energy powder, 2 lemons, some snacks & biscuits
5. Torch with extra batteries.
6. Personal medicines & 2 plastic bags for weight distribution
7. A good trekking shoes
8. Extra pair of cloths
9. And most important: A sense of adventure

The charges for the trek are Rs. 300/- per head, which includes travelling from Lonavala to Lonavala, breakfast and expertise charges.

Trek O King: Dukes Nose Rappelling (300 ft) on 14th Apr 2013


Dukes nose is a huge pinnacle which can be seen while travelling between Mumbai and Pune. Its shape is like a nose or a thumb. The sights from the top are unique and magnificent as one sees a vast landscape and the winding Mumbai Pune Express Highway cutting through the ghats and trains chugging along the tracks. It is famous for rock climbing, valley crossing and rappelling adventure activities.

Imagine going down on a rope which is set at 45 degree angle, downwards, with 800 Ft valley below you. You can feel the cool wind in ur hair and butterfly in your tummy !!!

The charges for the event are:

Rappelling: Rs. 1200 (Single attempt)
which includes travelling from Lonavala to Lonavala, breakfast, Evening snacks and Equipment and expertise charges.
